Is TripTify free?
Yes. TripTify is free to use and supported by unobtrusive banner ads.
Does it work with the screen locked?
Yes. Trip monitoring runs in the background so the alarm fires even when your phone is locked or you're in another app. For best reliability, disable battery optimization for TripTify.
Do I need an internet connection?
You'll need data to search for a place. Once your destination is set, distance monitoring uses GPS and continues working without a connection.
What should I pin — my office or my stop?
Pin the exact place where you get off your ride (bus stop, jeepney point, or station), not your final destination. The alarm fires when you pass near that spot on the road.
How is my location used?
Location is only used during an active trip to measure your distance to the stop. Nothing is uploaded to a server — see our Privacy Policy.
